Children's home and transition center
Hope for Nepal operates two children's homes for young orphans and a transition center for high school and college students preparing to enter the work force. Because of these refuges, many children have been spared from lives of poverty, child labor or prostitution.
Both environments have a set of house parents and a maximum of 15 children. The goal is to create a non-institutional, family setting with strong relational ties. Children and young adults are taught life skills as well as spiritual and ethical values.
